Liverpool were beaten 0-1 by Wolves late in December in a game that proved to be the signal of doom for former manager Roy Hodgson. With Kenny Daglish installed on the Anfield hot seat till the end of the season, the Kop will be hoping for a better showing this weekend. Last week’s Merseyside derby ended in a 2-2 draw thanks to a penalty from Dirk Kuyt. This was after Raul Meireles had given Liverpool the lead and Sylvain Distin and Jermaine Beckford had put Everton 2-1 ahead. Daglish said he was happy with the result, but it is hard to see fans satisfied with anything less than all three points this weekend.
