Hand of Henry

I know the title is predictable but what did you expect?  Take a look at the hand ball that Thierry Henry committed to help his team knock Ireland out of UEFA World Cup Qualifying.  Thierry Henry is a fantastic player, but this sort of behavior is not acceptable.  Ever since the 2006 World Cup it seems that referees have been getting a lot of media attention.  In fairness to them, they cannot police everything.  There has to be some level of integrity at the player level.  What makes it worse is Henry’s post match comments, “I will be honest.  It was a handball.  But I am not the ref.”  What is the point of being ‘honest’ now?  Why not be honest during the game?  Disappointed in Henry.
