Starting this Saturday ESPN will be covering the English Premier League and on Sundays will be covering La Liga.
The first game for the EPL to be televised here in America is Manchester United vs. Wigan. Coverage starts at 9:55 A.M. eastern time.
As a lot of people know EPSN has lost the Champions League package. Fox now owns that and will cover that tournament on its networks including Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Net, Setanta, and DirectTV. FSC will also still be showing game of the EPL this season as well with hopes of going to HD capability in early 2010.
