Both Argentina and Portugal came through last night to get much needed wins to help them advance to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Portugal is in to the playoffs that will be held on Monday for the rest of the European teams that made it that far. Argentina won 1-0 and booked their trip to the finals.
Uruguay will have to play Costa Rica in a playoff match to see which team will be making the trip to South Africa. The European playoffs will be selected on Monday with some pretty big teams involved such as Portugal, Ukraine, and France. Should make for good action.
