Congratulations to Didier Drogba picked up his second African Footballer of the Year award. The Ivorian has had another great season for Chelsea. Other finalists for the award were Michael Essien and Samuel Eto'o. Drogba has 19 goals in the Premiership so far. He started the season out on fire and continued so right up to the African Cup of Nations. Although his play hasn't been garnering the attention of Wayne Rooney he is still getting the job done by scoring 2 goals against West Ham yesterday.
Look for Drogba to be a key player in the Chelsea - Inter Milan match coming up this week. Will he be a factor in the title run in? Not sure. Everyone I know seems to think that the title is between Manchester United and Arsenal. I wouldn't count Chelsea out yet. Especially with an in-form Drogba in their side! Congratulations again Didier Drogba.
